Massaged Kale Salad

1 bunch (about 9 ounces) kale (Curly, Dinosaur and/or Red Russian kale), stemmed and chopped
4T toasted sesame oil
half a lemon
sea salt to taste (1T)
pepper to taste (1t)
2 T of toasted sesame seeds
1-2t of chili powder (optional)
**optional- honey, tamari, garlic, etc. are all nice additions and are
great when used sparingly.

Using clean, bare hands, massage the kale with the lemon juice and sesame oil until tender (about 3 ½ minutes).  Add additional ingredients and mix in with hands.

Let salad sit for at least 2 hours in refrigerator.  Serve and enjoy!
