About Us
Divide Creek Farm is owned and organically farmed by Robbie George and Clara Coleman. Clara is the daughter of famed organic gardening pioneer and author Eliot Coleman http://www.fourseasonfarm.com. Our 200-acre farm produces solar power from a 25 kilowatt solar system which sells excess power back to Holy Cross Electric and renders us carbon-neutral for five adults annually. We currently grow fruits and vegetables on a 1/2 acre of land including three Rolling Thunder movable greenhouses in order to extend and optimize four-season production. We also run grass-fed cattle on our naturally managed pastures. Our slogan is Real Farming, Real Food since we are focused on the positive methods of organic agriculture such as good soil fertility, composting, green manures, crop rotations, beneficial insects, nutritious quality produce, rewarding hard work and selling locally. We believe in the power of small farms nourishing local communities.
